Research Interest:
My research investigates the mechanisms underlying learning and memory in normal and
in pathological situations. I have concentrated on elucidating the mechanisms of neurological diseases and action of neuroactive compounds (during the last two years
Down Syndrome). My research uses different electrophysiological techniques, including extra- and intracellular recordings with sharp electrodes, voltage and current whole-cell clamp from on hippocampal slices and extra cellular recordings. |
